This is not a wise move because there are very specific purposes for body building exercises designed to provide two goals of either increased mass or increased definition. By understanding that there are differences between mass building exercises and those exercises that are designed for more definition the ability to arrive at one’s goals will be greater facilitated. After all, if you are exercising then you have a certain set of goals in mind and you will want the proper exercises that will be required to reach those goals.</p>
<p>Building Mass</p>
<p>The most common body building exercises people perform are compound exercises. When you are performing compound body building exercises you are primarily working on mass. That is, compound exercises mean that more than one body part is used to lift the weight. Bench presses, while generally considered chest exercises, also provide secondary stress to the biceps, triceps and shoulders. So, these other muscles grow as well as the chest although not to the same degree. Other common body building exercises that perform compound exercises include squats and military presses. Now, these exercises are not necessarily designed to make the person’s muscle mass huge (although they certainly can be used for this purpose) these exercises can be used in a lesser capacity so as not to massively pack on muscle.</p>
<p>Sculpting Definition</p>
<p>The second type of body building exercises that are employed are those exercises that are isolation exercises. These exercises do not involve more than one muscle group and are designed to specially develop the muscles of a particular area. These exercises can be employed with high repetitions to burn fat and usually follow a cycle of mass building so as to create the definition that mass requires for aesthetic looks. Please note, contrary to popular belief these exercises cannot spot reduce fat in a particular area. Yes, fat will be burned, but it will be burned evenly throughout the body as opposed to any specific or particular area.</p>
<p>Of course, there are other areas that need to be taken into consideration as well such as diet, cardio etc, but the areas of mass building and definition generally cover the basics that one would need in order to achieve a baseline level of success and to reach his or her goals.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If there ever was a true legend in the sport of <a href="http://1fxh1.burnthefat.hop.clickbank.net/">body building</a> it would be the legendary Lou Ferigno. In the 1970’s, Ferigno was a true rags to riches story as he came from humble origins to worldwide fame as a bodybuilder and then to even greater fame in his endearing portrayal of the titular green monster in the classic television program THE INCREDIBLE HULK. While some may be familiar with Lou and his work, they may not be all that familiar with his background which may prove to be quite interesting even to those who do not follow the sport.</p>
<p>Body Building: The Early Years</p>
<p>Lou Ferigno was born in Brooklyn New York in the 1950’s and had the handicap of being deaf. Since attitudes towards the hearing impaired were not exactly progressive during this time period, Lou became somewhat withdrawn and isolated. While in his teens he would discover a new hobby in the form of weightlifting. Lou became enamored with this new hobby to the point of obsession. He would work out everyday and watch his diet religiously. In time, he would set his sights on competing in amateur body building competitions. He entered them and did well enough that he caught the eye of body building mogul Joe Weider who brought Lou into the fold of professional body building competition. Lou did extremely well in this new profession although he alternated his time between competing and working in construction as construction paid far more than professional body building! Lou would then become featured in the classic documentary PUMPING IRON, a documentary that would bring him to the attention of a number of Hollywood producers.</p>
<p>The Incredible Hulk</p>
<p>When former James Bond villain Richard “Jaws” Kiel bombed as the Hulk during the first few days of shooting the pilot for the TV series, Ferigno got the call to play the green goliath. While few believed this series would be a hit, it turned out to be a colossal hit lasting many years on network TV and decades in syndication. Ferigno was now a bona fide worldwide star!</p>
<p>Ferigno no longer competes in body building these days as he is well into his retirement years. He does, however, appear at numerous competitions as a special guest and as a judge. He also signs autographs at comic conventions and meets with all his fans who have followed his career through the years. In terms of pop culture history, Lou Ferigno is a true icon and definitely one of a kind!</p>

<p>  
<p>One of the many questions I get asked on my travels is “<a href="http://www.truthaboutfatloss.net/">Can you tell me how to build the chest</a>”?. There is no greater sign of power than a huge chest and the good news is that the chest muscles are one of the easiest muscles to build. In order to build the chest muscles to the maximum you need to incorporate a system of dumbbell chest building exercises and the flat bench. So here are two of the best chest exercises to help you build the chest you desire.</p>
<p>  How to build the chest:-   Exercise 1       <strong>Dumbbell Incline Press</strong></p>
<p>      Lay on an incline bench, the angle of which should be around 30 degrees and no greater or else the workload is shifted to the shoulders and off the chest. Select a pair of moderately heavy dumbbells. Start with the dumbbells at arm length above the chest then lower slowly in a controlled fashion to a position as low as possible (below the chest) to give that full stretch. Then press the dumbbells back above your chest but do not lock out your arms. Repeat for 8 to 10 reps and 5 sets increasing the weight each tine.</p>
<p>  How to build the chest:-  Exercise 2       <strong>Pre exhaust Fly&#8217;s and Flat Bench </strong> </p>
<p>This is the combination of exercises that will build you a solid striated chest, do these regularly and you will be astounded by the results. Be careful these are very intense exercises. You will need a flat bench, dumbbells and a barbell.</p>
<p>  Start with a pair dumbbells that will enable you to perform 8 reps with maximum effort. Lay on a bench and hold the dumbbells together pressed above your chest. Now lower the dumbbells in an arc as low as possible (below chest level) then press back in the same arc to the starting position, repeat for 8 reps. When the last repetition is finished drop the dumbbells then without rest, press the barbell off the support to full arm extension above your chest. Slowly lower the barbell till it touches nipple level then under control hold for a short one count, breathe out and press back to the starting position. Repeat at least 8 times. The composition of these 2 exercises constitutes 1 set, 3 sets need to be performed.

One way to overcome the apprehension of joining one of these clubs is by hiring a fitness trainer who can teach you everything you need to know to join the fun at the gym. This person can teach you how to use all of the equipment properly and help you customize an exercise program for your specific needs. But how do you find a fitness trainer, and how do you know that the one you choose is competent at his job. We have a few tips to help you find the perfect fitness trainer. </p>
<p>Schedule a Meeting Once you have a name of a fitness trainer that works in the gym that you belong to, schedule an initial session with that person to see if he or she will be a good fit for you. Keep in mind that you will be spending at least a couple of hours a week with this person, so you want it to be someone that you like and are comfortable with. If you have a specific medical issue, ask this fitness trainer if he has experience dealing with clients with similar conditions. Watch the person to see if he listens carefully to your questions and concerns and makes every effort to answer them to your satisfaction. <p>Is He Certified? In addition to education and experience, certification is a key factor you should look at before selecting a fitness trainer. The best places to receive certification for this line of work include the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Inquiring about certification is a good way to find out if this person is dedicated and experience to his role as a fitness trainer, and whether he will be able to help you develop an effective exercise program. </p>
<p>A new workout program can be an intimidating prospect, but a fitness trainer can help you get started on the right track to a healthier body. By checking into the experience and credentials of the fitness trainer that you choose, you can rest assured that you are already on the road to meeting your fitness goals.  </p>

There are so many important things that seem to come and go and always seem to be more important then health issues. And when many people think of healthy living, they think more of smoking and drinking then they think about putting physical fitness first. Everyone remembers their morning routine such as having that cup of coffee or their lunch routine of catching a little radio or having a smoke break with co-workers, but what about putting fitness first? </p>

Therefore, basketball fitness training is of utmost importance for the game.  You need basketball fitness training in all areas of the game but perhaps most importantly is agility.  Agility is the ability to move body position quickly and accurately without losing balance.  There&#8217;s no need to explain why that&#8217;s important for basketball fitness training.   </p>
<p>Basketball Fitness &#038; Agility Training </p>
<p>Basketball agility drills will help to improve speed on the court, quickness, coordination and most importantly, your ability to change direction with barely any deceleration.  Basketball agility fitness drills combined with a speed-training program can really help during the game. The super shuttle drill is great fitness training for basketball players.   </p>
<p>First, you want to set up some sort of square near the basket and mark the corners with tape.  The bottom right corner is A, the top right corner is B, the top left is D and the lower left is C.  Have the team start under the basket with their backs to the square and to the court.  Second, have them scuffle backwards with their hands in a defensive ready position until they get to point A.  Then have them sprint backwards from A to B&#8212;have them try to minimize the time that it takes to change direction. </p>
<p>Now, have them face the court.  Have them sidestep from point B to their starting direction, with their hands still in defensive position.  Then they will jump to touch the net or the backboard and then have them repeat the back shuffle from start to point C.  Then have them sprint forward from point C to D.  Then with their backs once again to the court, they will sidestep to start position.  Once again have them jump to touch the net or the backboard.  Do about 6-8 repetitions with about 60-90 second rests in between.   </p>
<p>Weave in weave out is also great for basketball fitness agility training.  You will have to place four markers in a straight line about three yards apart.  In between these markers, you will place more markers between each set of the first ones, only three yards to the left.  One at a time, have them spring to the first marker and sidestep to the second, leading with their left leg.  Then have them side shuffle to the next marker leading with the right left.  Repeat to the finish.  Basically, they&#8217;re moving on a zigzag in this basketball fitness training exercise.  Once everyone is done, have the players walk back to the start and do it for eight repetitions.   </p>
<p>Basketball fitness agility training will really help you to be on top of your game.  Agility is of utmost important in the same of basketball and these exercises aim to conditions you for the game.     </p>

Therefore, it is not surprising that the army has a physical fitness training program like no other. The Physical Fitness Division oversees all army physical fitness training concepts and programs. </p>
<p>History Of The U.S. Army Physical Fitness Training School </p>
<p>The school was created in 1982, under the Reagan administration, in conjunction with a new Year of Fitness initiative. The mission and purpose of the school is to develop physical fitness doctrine and training for soldiers with the primary purpose of preparing them to meet the physical demands of war. One of the goals in achieving this mission was to standardize fitness standards, training and programs across the entire army. Physical fitness training was just one component of the school. </p>
<p>Leadership Training </p>
<p>The school&#8217;s philosophy is to start from the top down, with the army&#8217;s leaders. They created a Master Fitness Trainer course so that every unit could have a qualified physical fitness trainer to help the rest of the unit get into shape. The four-week, 137-hour course taught leaders how to assess the fitness of both individual soldiers and the entire unit, how to understand basic anatomical and exercise physiology principles and how to train other leaders to be master fitness trainers. </p>
<p>More Rigorous Standards </p>
<p>With this focus on army physical fitness training, more strenuous training standards were adopted. Within seven years of the school&#8217;s creation, systems were developed that had a significant impact on the physical performance of soldiers in training and on the battlefield. The army adopted new physical fitness policies as a result.  </p>
<p>In 1990, army leadership declared mission accomplished, and there was talk of closing the Army Physical Fitness Training School. Fortunately, they reconsidered, and decided that the school was integral to the fitness of the army. The school was placed under the leadership of the Infantry Center with a small group of fitness professionals tasked with training and educating the entire army. </p>
<p>Move To Fort Benning </p>
<p>The school was relocated to Fort Benning, Georgia, in 1992 and the Master Fitness Training Course was discontinued shortly thereafter. In 1995, new physical fitness test standards were developed, and more focus was placed on readiness for combat tasks. An Army Weight Control Program was added to the curriculum of the school in 2003. </p>
<p>The School Today </p>
<p>Army physical fitness training today falls under the directorate of Basic Combat Training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Today, the school is known as the Physical Fitness Division, and its mission continues to include army physical fitness training for the entire U.S. Army. </p>
